We are anxiously awaiting this Saturday’s (the 17th) Crafty Ballyhoo! and wanted to fill you in a little more about one of the exciting crafty activities happening that day, our SWAP!
What is SWAP?
A place to trade out unwanted materials; A place to discover your next art project; A place to meet other creative people.
Why SWAP?
Too much clutter in your work studio, Bad shopping mistakes; Change, Sharing both ideas and supplies, Recycle, Find new exciting materials.
What to expect at SWAP?
The idea is to trade out materials that are crowding you, Items you know you will never use , Replaced with fresh materials, Come out with (go home with) your next big idea.
What can you SWAP?
Anything!!!! If you think someone could use it SWAP it. The same goes for taking - don’t be greedy only take what you can use. Remember you are trying to reclaim your creative space – don’t clutter it back up.
So make sure to bring unwanted crafty materials to SWAP at the Crafty Ballyhoo! this Saturday April 17th at 1490 Delgany from 11am-7pm
Brett and Susan screenprinted the posters and swag bags yesterday. They are totally fantastic! If you know the perfect place for one of these limited edition posters, let us know! Or better yet- stop by Tomte to pick up a couple to hang. We only have about 40 of these beauties, so we’d like to have them in fabulous locations were lots of people will see them.
And don’t forget to drop off you swag bag donations! Or if you’re not a maker be onethe first to arrive to the Ballyhoo to snag one of these jems. If you aren’t one of the lucky few to get a swag bag, there will be a screenprinting demo where you will have the opportunity to print your own bag (swag bag goodies excluded).
Susan Hazel Rich designed us up some fantastic fliers! Please sprinkle this about to help us promote.
